On a Valentine’s Day
One of the most celebrated days here in India too, The Valentine’s Day. It indeed is a very unique experience for each one of us, in or out of love. The interesting question is What have you planned Today?
I’m not very eligible to talk like an expert on this topic, but there are some things that I’d like to put down after I watched the movie Valentine’s Day, starring Julia Roberts. Many little stories mixed up and logically linked.
- Some of my friends reciting the Marriage Proposals. God bless them.
- Some realizing that they definitely are not going to find anybody to Date, have already planned an outing.
- Some messaging the coming of this great Valentine’s Day to each contact on their mobile and thus spreading some warmth.
- Some same gender pairs, out on the streets rebelling to keep their love for each other secret any more.
- And some angelic pairs destined to get the best out of tomorrow.
Well, i’d be On a Date With Jesus. This is a program presented by the YA (young Adults) at KKP (Krist Kiran Parivar). I’d be here, with my God and experience his love.
ADDRESS: Hadapsar, Opposite Big Bazar, Prakash Bhavan, Next to Vidya Bhavan College of Commerce, Pune. We’re presenting a Drama, together all worshipping the Lord and Snacks to mark the end. The program starts at 6:00 PM, and upto 7:30 PM.
What I hope to receive is, an understanding and appreciation for God’s Love and build a more personal relationship with Him.
Twosome
Why didn’t you stop me from going
Why didn’t you wipe the tears flowing
I wanted to turn around & hug you
I wanted to show how much I love you
I stepped out when strong winds were blowing
I didn’t even know,
The waters I was rowing
Long I had sailed
When I came across a mirror
That showed me the way
Back to the ones dear
Hurrying back home,
I sat by a fear
And felt you’d have,
Someone else near.
But I made up my mind
No matter what I hear
I’d confess my guilt
Though its too little ,
For your wounds to clear
At the doors of Heaven
Once when I was busy collecting pieces of gold, I failed to notice my Shoe lace falling beneath my feet and I tumbled. I fell hard and was hurt. That is when I met an angel who she picked me up. She taught me to smile and enjoy the little things in life. I grew strong and smart and fell in love with her. She graciously accepted me and held me inside her heart. We played and laughed, held hands and walked the streets, splashed water, built sand castles, made rose beds and relaxed in each other’s arms.
One day while my angel was busy making a heaven for me, excited to give me a surprise; I stepped out to play and worried as I was to return before it was late, I came running fast as light and crashed into her heart. Oh! My angel, she was so heart broken but she made sure I was ok and gifted me that heaven.
Now her heart needs to be fixed. She said that she’d be back soon and flew to GOD who would mend her heart. I don’t know when she’d return. But I’ll wait right at the doors of our heaven and enter it with her.
I love you Angel.
